FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
What is the Learn to Love Marriage Class?
The Learn to Love Marriage Class is an alternative to traditional therapy. It often is more effective also. It is a 3 day class where you learn the skills you need in order to build a rock solid marriage. On the first day we reconstruct your foundation of marriage and relationships. On the second day we learn skills for communication, conflict resolution and creating intimacy. On the third day we tackle 2-3 of your nuclear bomb issues. This is 3-4 months work of work in 3 days. The class is $3600 but on sale right now for $2950 for the Summer.
Do you accept insurance?
We currently are not on any insurance panels. However, we do accept HSA debit cards.
Do you provide Telehealth?
Yes. Since COVID-19 has changed the way the world interacts we have added telehealth to our services. These sessions will be through our secure client server and will be via video. Telehealth sessions are Mondays and Wednesdays.
How much does therapy cost?
Pricing really depends on what you need. That's why we provide the 30 minute consultation to talk and find out what fits you best. Our rates are below the average rate in Pearland, depending on what you choose. It is definitely less expensive than divorce or the stressful life you are currently living.
If we come for couple's counseling will we get an individual session also?
If we feel that you need your own individual sessions we can assess how to best address that. Sometimes it is necessary and sometimes it is not.
How many sessions will I need?
It varies from client to client. There is no way to know beforehand how many sessions will be needed, however on average clients usually do at least 12 sessions. Please keep in mind that 12 is on the low end. The work we do in the therapy room often gets intense and usually not a quick fix.
Do you have weekend appointments?
We do work on the weekends however those time slots are very limited.
If I am not a Christian or religious can I still make an appointment?
Absolutely. We encourage it. You do not have to be a Christian to have a great marriage or relationship. Christian counseling is for those who want it. We will likely talk about how you relate to God or your Higher Power, however no particular beliefs will be forced on you.
