FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Do you offer a consultation?
Yes. The first session is a 30 minute consultation so that you can decide if you like the way Clifton Brantley works before you become a client. The consult is $50.

Do you accept insurance?
No, I do not. I was accepting insurance for a short while, however I’ve determined that insurance does not work with my business or coaching model.

Do you provide Telehealth?
Yes. Since COVID-19 has changed the way the world interacts we have added telehealth to our services. These sessions will be through our secure client server and will be via video. Telehealth sessions are Mondays and Thursdays.

What do you specialize in?
While I aim to help a variety of clients, my primary focus is men and couples coaching. Most of my couples have been married for less than 10 years. I also do a lot of pre-marital counseling.

Do you do trauma work?
I work with one of the best trauma therapists in the world, Dr. Patrick Wanis. I will refer my trauma clients to Dr. Wanis for a few sessions. A “few” sessions is normally all it takes to help the client get past their trauma. There is a slight discount when referred by me, however you can schedule with Dr. Wanis on your own if you’d like. His website is www.patrickwanis.com.

What is the Marriage Intensive?
The Marriage Intensive is my PREFERRED way to help couples. It is an alternative to traditional therapy. It often is more effective as well. It is a 2 day class from 9-4 where you learn the skills you need in order to build a rock solid marriage. This is 3-4 months worth of work in 2 days. This class is not for couples with substance abuse or trauma issues.

If we come for couple's counseling will we get an individual session also?
If I feel that you need your own individual sessions we can assess how to best address that. Sometimes it is necessary and sometimes it is not.

Do you have weekend appointments?
Yes, weekend appointments are available, however, they are booked very fast!

If I am not a Christian or religious can I still make an appointment?
Absolutely. I encourage it. I do coach / counsel using biblical principles. I will never force God or the bible on you. But, if you do not want God mentioned at all then I am not the therapist for you.
